New Poster for THE STYLIST by Daiju and Hiro! 倉林さんと一緒にTHE STYLISTのポスターつくった！

It's time to drop a bomb! Daiju and I are proud to reveal our latest collaboration: our poster for THE STYLIST directed by Jill Gevargizian!

倉林さんと一緒にジルさんの新作短編ホラー映画『THE STYLIST』のポスターをつくりました。

アメリカ、カンサスのきれーな美容師さんが私共が製作したポスターを持ち、微笑んでおられます。この方が、『THE STYLIST』の監督のジルさんです。

Meet Jill Gevargizian, the stylist from Kansas City, Missouri, smiling beautifully and holding our poster for THE STYLIST! She directed THE STYLIST short film. This poster is our gift for her! We are so happy she loves our art!

Fantastic Festでお披露目

このポスターは私と倉林さんからジルさんへの贈り物であり、「いっちょうびっくりさせてやれ」と思ってつくったもんで、印刷されるなんて夢にも思いませんでした。数週間前にジルさんにこっそり謹呈しましたところ、ひとめで気に入って下さり、「印刷しよう。じつは、THE STYLISTはFantastic Festでオフィシャルセレクションなのである。そこでこのポスターを発表してみんなをびっくりさせよう。うれしいよ！わーわー！」というので、私らは「うわー」と驚いたのであります。

Fantastic Festはジャンル映画に特化した映画祭で、とても大きなイベントで、こちらに選ばれるというのは大変な名誉です。当日は、ジルさんの他、主演のナジャラさんやクルーのみなさんも会場にいらっしゃいます。このポスターをジャジャーンと持っていくそうなので、つまり、あれだ、私らの製作物を美しいナジャラさんが手に取ってご覧になるという次第で、私と倉林さんにとっても名誉な話です。うれしいなあ。

余談ですが、上のリンク先のページには他の上映作品も載ってます。さすがに話題作がズラーと並んでいて、すごいラインナップ。日本の監督さんの作品も少しあるよ。
