We're extremely thrilled to announce that the long-awaited Luchagore Productions' El Gigante: The Comic is FINALLY coming! The release date is set on May 5th, 2017!

Well, in case you're not familiar with it, it's the fanmade comic adaptation of El Gigante, the short film based on Shane McKenzie’s novel Muerte Con Carne, made by Luchagore Productions in 2014. It had been screened at a lot of film festivals worldwide and has been receiving critical acclaim. The comic project started almost two years ago. Super-talented Japanese comic artist Daiju Kurabayashi drew it. And I, Hiro Fujii, designed it. We made it gory/brutal/crazy/fun as possible! You're gonna love it! I cannot wait to see how people react by seeing it!

本日はお日柄もよく、倉林さんと一緒につくった『エルギガンテ漫画』のリリースがやっとこさ！決まりました。長かったなあ。うれしいなあ。2017年5月5日に公式サイトで公開します。この日はCINCO DE MAYOていうメキシコの大きなお祭りデーということで、このよき日にリリースしようとジジさんが決めました。いやー、ほんとに長かったなあ。
