We're insanely crazy happy to announce that long-awaited El Gigante: The Comic has been released! You can buy the digital download from LUCHAGORE PRODUCTIONS shopping page (Both of English and Japanese version).
My buddy Daiju Kurabayashi who's a talented comic artist and I, Hiro Fujii, as a designer collaborated with and made the comic. It was over a year ago we contacted Gigi at Luchagore hoping to do the comic adaptation of their famous short El Gigante which has been our favorite. Actually we had no idea how she could react to us back then. Even we didn't know if she could react! Turns out, it was so lucky for us she returned to my email quickly and said, "It's amazing!"
Gigi! You ARE amazing! It took almost a year to finish the comic since then. Looking back these days, I thank Gigi, Raynor, Luke, Shane and all people who have been supporting us. I do believe that Luchagore is one of the most incredibly talented teams in the horror industry. Their passion always makes me amused and inspired. Gigi is genius to direct. When you work with her, you will soon start to feel like, "Oh! I am so special! Am I!?" It's a miracle of her making people feel that way. I'm truly honored to be able to become the part of the team. Let's cerebrate!

インタビューでは、漫画のことだけでなく、ルチャゴアの活動全般について色々しゃべってて、El Giganteの長編版の製作についても触れています。やっと現実味が帯びてきました。こちらも大変楽しみですね。
